About Me:  Hi! My name is Pam.  I’m currently working toward my BEd STEM after spending over 20 years in a variety of career fields, including medical laboratory testing, pharmaceutical sales, project management, and interior design. It’s been a unique and rewarding journey, and now I’m excited to bring all of that experience into the classroom.

I’m married with two amazing adult children, and we share our home with our much-loved Australian Shepherd, Leo, who keeps us on our toes and makes sure there’s never a dull moment.

I’ve always been a curious and creative person—I hold a BSc in Cell and Development Biology, I enjoy memory keeping, digging into ancestry, and trying out new artistic projects.  I am a lifelong volunteer with Girl Guides of Canada, and currently serve as a district commissioner in Kamloops.   When I’m not studying or spending time with family and friends, you’ll usually find me out walking, cycling, skiing, planning our next travel adventure, or hosting a meal for the people I care about.

In quieter moments, I love being in the garden, experimenting with watercolours and drawing, or getting lost in a good book – my goal is to read 100 books this year! I’m looking forward to the next chapter as an educator and bringing a mix of real-world experience, creativity, and enthusiasm for science and technology into my future classroom.
